It’s a go for our IN PERSON meeting on April  21st at the VMFA to learn about and enjoy NIA.

Mare Grinnan, Jessica Forsythe  and Niki Schemmel of SoulShine Studios will talk about their studio and teach us a NIA class. It’s a mind, body, spirit, dance exercise perfect for all levels of fitness.  Wear tennis shoes, excercise clothes and together we will enjoy this beautiful VMFA space.   

Place: Belevedere Space above parking deck VMFA
Time:  7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Snacks provided
Attire: Casual Athletic (aka what you are wearing every day now:)

AnnMarie Grohs, Founder and Owner, Boho Studios

AnnMarie is the founder and owner of Boho Studios, a boutique fitness studio business that operates three locations. One of their studios is located right here in the Museum District at 714 N Sheppard Street.

AnnMarie attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies. In 2018, she became a certified personal trainer and Precision Nutrition health coach, Level 1.

We are looking forward to hearing more about Boho Studios!

MDWC LOGO DESIGN CONTEST

~ LOGO DESIGN SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE MDWC CONTEST ~

*2 color design, black and another color.

*Must look good at 100% and grayscale.

*Simple and balanced design Museum District Woman’s Club MDWC

*Logo should translate well in print and software and promotional products.

*One font style. Must be legible and can be scaled up and down in size. No Comic Sans.

*This is a thumbnail submission.

*Designer must reside or work within the boundaries of the Museum District.

CONTEST TIMEFRAME: January 15 – February 29, 2020

Winner will receive a FREE MEMBERSHIP for 2020/21 along with a bottle of wine🍷

Progressive Dinner

TICKETS WILL GO ON SALE THE END OF JANUARY 🎟🎟🎟

This event is always a favorite and will sell out quickly. Keep an eye out; tickets will go on sale in late January. This event is not limited to club members but also welcomes: neighbors, spouses, dates, friends, and family 21+. 

We are looking for hosts and cooks; We need a large home to host appetizers and another to host desserts (must have standing room for 50 people). We also need dinner hosts and salad hosts. In order to host, you must be able to seat at least eight attendees (10-12 is better!), including yourself and your guest. If you love to cook/bake but do not want to host we welcome a cook for appetizers or desserts also. Hosting or cooking a course comes with a free ticket; If you host and cook a course, you get two FREE tickets. If you are interested in hosting or cooking, please let Paige Alcorn know by emailing her at alcornpn@gmail.com
