| Save the date for our December Social, which is a potluck dinner with our 2018 non-profit guest, Richmond Cycling Corps! The social is December 19th, at 7:30 p.m. at the One Bed and Breakfast, 1 N. Boulevard. All members are invited to attend and please bring a dish to share!
We are excited to announce that our selected non-profit this year is the Richmond Cycling Corps. Richmond Cycling Corps, founded in 2008, is an opportunity-rich outreach program which uses the sport of cycling as a lever for deep and impactful change. They empower youth in public housing to break free from the cycle of systemic poverty. For this momentous undertaking, they employ a hands-on system of case-management attached to a spectrum of mentors, resources, counseling, high standards, and tough love.
