2015 Holiday Charity: Fan Free Clinic

The MDWC has adopted the Fan Free Clinic as our holiday charity this year!
Established in 1968, the Fan Free Clinic’s mission is to provide quality health services, especially to those least served, in a compassionate and non-judgmental environment.
The MDWC will donate $200 to the Fan Free Clinic. This will go towards their integrated care work, providing much needed medical services & mental services to the uninsured.
We are asking our interested members to donate any combination of the following:
-Food Pantry– Any boxed or plastic-contained, non-perishable food items are appreciated. Below are their most needed* items
- Canned Tuna or Canned Chicken*
- Peanut Butter*
- Canned Vegetables*
- Plain Spaghetti Sauce*
- Spaghetti/Macaroni (whole wheat)*
- Canned Spaghetti & Meatballs and/or Beef Ravoli
- Beef and/or Brunswick Stew
- Canned Soups (low salt)
- Canned Beans
- Canned Fruits
- Cereal (Oatmeal & other)
Please NO GLASS JARS or items over 16 oz.
-Gently Used or New Books for Lending Library –Adult and children’s books are both needed
-$5 & $10 Prizes or Gift Cards–For bingo and raffle games
-Pizza Gift Cards – For Monthly Pizza Get Together
Any level of donation is greatly appreciated!!!
Please bring your donations to our December 16th MDWC meeting/holiday pot luck. The Fan Free Clinic’s Executive Director, Karen Legato will be in attendance and will tell us about their work with the community.
